What is EB?
Entrepinoy Basics
Trainig (EB) is a management training programme specifically
design for owners/managers of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
It introduces basic principles
of good management in a simple and practical way. The
EB training uses participatory training methods. It
aims at stimulating and encouraging the entrepreneurs to apply the new
management knowledge in their business.
By applying the management
gained through EB training, the entrepreneurs are able to cost and price
products properly, increase sales, buy inputs competitively, improve stock
control, reduce costs, plan for the future, and eventually increase the
profitability of their business.
EB method is being used
by International Labor Organization (ILO) and Swedish International
Development Authority (SIDA) and introduced to 15 countries in Eastern
and Southern Africa.
Objectives of EB Programme.
The over-all objective of
the EB programme is to increase the viability of small and medium enterprises
(SMEs) through the application of sound management principles, which may
lead to creation and/or sustenance of employment, maximize profit and contributes
to economic development.

To learn how to charge the customer
or pricing the product by determining the Direct and Indirect cost.

To know how to use the Record
Book combining receipts and expenditures and how to make a Profit and Loss
statements.

To learn basic methods in making
and cost plan, action plan, strategic plan projected cash flow.
